SPHERE OF SOULS Parts Ways With Lead Guitarist, Drummer

SPHERE OF SOULS, the Dutch progressive metal formation featuring ex-SUN CAGED vocalist André Vuurboom, has amicably parted ways with guitar virtuoso Anand Mahangoe and drummer Ruud van Diepen. The band is currently searching for replacements. Interested parties should contact rhythm guitarist Rob Cerrone at [email protected]. In the meantime, Anand has announced plans to resume live activities with his solo band.

SPHERE OF SOULS released its debut album, "From the Ashes", through Lion Music in April 2006. The album was of a conceptual nature and contained 13 tracks encompassing a wide range of influences and styles. Production, engineering, mixing and mastering duties were handled by Joost van den Broek (ex-SUN CAGED, STAR ONE, AYREON),who also performed with the group at the ProgPower Europe 2006 festival.
